BY ROAD

 

Athens-Villavia Apartments: 215 km (2 hours)

Starting your journey from Athens, follow the Athens-Corinth-Tripoli-Kalamata National Road until you reach the exit to Mani-Aeropoli and follow the road to Verga. Then keep driving on the right passing “Messinian Bay” and head to the coastal line with the sea on the right until you reach Akrogiali village and its bridge. After passing the bridge and as you see the beach of Santava, turn left to Platoma – Kampos and in 1.3 km you reach your destination.

There are regular buses on a daily basis from KTEL Kifissos in Athens to Kalamata. From Kalamata there are also buses for all the villages of Messinia (as well as for Akrogiali). For all the cities of the Peloponnese there are daily routes from the bus station of the city.

BY PLANE

Kalamata is linked through scheduled flights and charter flights with most airports in Europe (Munich, Stockholm, Moscow, Amsterdam, London, Milan, Vienna, etc.). In addition, you can also reach Kalamata from Athens “El. Venizelos” airport and Thessaloniki “Macedonia” airport, as there are weekly flights to and from Kalamata.

BY FERRY

 

By ferry there is a connection with Kythira and Kissamos Chania (Crete) during the summer months. The modern marina and the port of Kalamata give the possibility to dock boats.
